They say it takes a village to raise a child.
Kina Mama is a group of women focused on supporting mothers. Our aim is to bring together women from different backgrounds, religions and nationalities, to unite and create a strong community from which we can support, empower and strengthen one another. We want to bring back traditional holistic wisdom from generations of mothers from Africa and the East through our recipes, and to provide positive lifestyle changes through food and sisterhood.
Kina Mama means ‘the mothers’ in Swahili, the language of East Africa. With East Africa being influenced by Arabia and India, the food we produce is an authentic fusion of traditional and modern East African cuisine.
